6 Arrests Made in Orland Park Roadside Safety Check: Police
Cops stopped 242 vehicles over a 4-hour period during a check last week.

Six people were arrested and more than 50 citations were issued in the latest roadside safety check in Orland Park, police said.
Orland Park police officers stopped 242 vehicles on Aug. 23 during a 4-hour check in the 7500 block of 159th Street.
Types of citations issued by officers included seat belt violations, driving without insurance and driving with expired registration, police said.
Three of those stopped on Aug. 23 were arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license, police said. Three other drivers were taken into custody for driving without a license.
