80 Seat Belt, 2 Car Seat Citations Issued In Orland PD's Memorial Day Push
Orland Park police ramped up seat belt enforcement for the Memorial Day stretch.
ORLAND PARK, IL — The Orland Park Police Department on Monday announced it issued 78 citations during the Memorial Day “Click It or Ticket” enforcement period.
“Through the Memorial Day enforcement campaign, we helped make Illinois roads safer and spread the word that seat belts save lives,” said Chief of Police Eric Rossi.
During the enforcement period, the Orland Park Police Department wrote 78 citations for seat belt violations and took the following additional actions:

- 2 child car seat citations
- 2 fugitives apprehended
- 2 suspended/revoked license
- 2 uninsured motorist citations
- 2 drug arrests
- 6 miscellaneous citations
