Dear Orland Park neighbors,
My name is Erika Hobbs and I'm the editor for the Orland Park Patch. Would you believe I used to teach yoga in Orland Park? Yes, I did. And back in the day, I worked for a store at Orland Square Mall that has long since been replaced by far trendier womenswear. I grew up in Steger and graduated from Bloom Trail High School, and in many ways, Orland was my stomping grounds. My friends still live there. Like you, I care about what happens in Orland Park, good or bad. Like you, I know news matters —particularly in my hometown.
That's why I try to keep you and your neighbors updated, and try to the community engaged in what's going on. Patch is launching a membership program in Orland Park to support local reporting in our community, while at the same time offering a real value to community organizers and influencers.
