It was a close call, but out of 84 votes, Tinley Park's Plush Horse reined the top frozen treat selection in the area. Those who said Plush Horse is their favorite said its homemade ice cream in a variety of flavors, and the kind service is what keeps them coming back for more.

"Their ice cream and gelato are smooth and creamy. The flavors are always spot on, and taste fresh since they are made daily. They also have the best selection of flavors around," one voter said. Another voter said "one scoop is twice the size."
