Bridge Teen Center Offers Community Service Event During Spring Break
The event is set for March 27. Students must register in advance.

ORLAND PARK, IL â The Bridge Teen Center and The Bridge Thrift Store have provided hundreds of community service hours for local teens, and this spring break a special initiative is providing even more service opportunities for teens. A special community service event is scheduled for Thursday March 27 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at The Bridge Teen Center, located at 15555 S. 71st St. in Orland Park. The event is free, but high school students must sign up in advance to serve.
âThis a great opportunity to gain some serious momentum on your community service hours,â said Kelsey Salto, Volunteer Coordinator at The Bridge Teen Center. âThis event is only for high school students so itâs the perfect opportunity to give back alongside friends and meet some new people while volunteering.â
Volunteers will serve at The Bridge Teen Center in support of their sister organization, The Bridge Thrift Store. The Bridge Thrift Store financially supports the free programs and events offered to thousands of suburban teens at the Teen Center. Students will serve by sorting, cleaning and stocking thrift store donations. If needed, community service letters will be issued to verify service hours.
