The Orland Park Public Library invites the community to enjoy a festive lineup of programs this December, featuring live performances, creative workshops, and opportunities to learn something new. Patrons will enjoy classic holiday entertainment, hands-on crafting, or culinary exploration and more at the library this winter season.

A Christmas Carol

Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Celebrate the spirit of the season with actor Duffy Hudson as he brings Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol to life in a captivating one-man performance.

Adult Beginning Ballet

Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m.

Take your first graceful steps in this welcoming introductory ballet class designed for all experience levels.

Holiday Card Making Workshop

Saturday, Dec. 13 at 10:30 a.m.

Add a personal touch to your holiday greetings! In this guided class, participants will create two beautiful winter cards to share or keep.

Canterbury Carolers

Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.

Step back in time with the sounds of the season. The traditionally costumed Canterbury Carolers will perform a delightful selection of Victorian Christmas carols in this festive concert.

History of Italian Wine and Cuisine

Friday, Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m.

Take a flavorful journey through Italy as you explore the history and culture behind its world-famous cuisine and wines.

Fun with Fondue

Monday, Dec. 29 at 6:30 p.m.

Warm up with a delicious evening as Kristyn Slick demonstrates both savory cheese fondue and a decadent chocolate version perfect for dessert.

Join us throughout December for these joyful programs that celebrate community, creativity, and the holiday spirit. The Orland Park Public Library is located at 14921 Ravinia Avenue in Orland Park, Illinois. Hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
