'Cocktails With Tales Of Old Orland' This Saturday

The event will kick off at 1 p.m. at the Orland Park History Museum.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Want to learn more about the history of Orland Park? The Village of Orland Park History Museum is hosting an event that will take attendees back in time at multiple spots in town.

Cocktails with Tales of Old Orland will take place Saturday at 1 p.m., beginning at the museum, 14415 Beacon Avenue. Attendees will join the museum curator as she talks about the history of Orland Park and the downtown area.

"Bizarre stories will be included on this tour," the museum stated in the announcement. "[The] program will kick off at the museum with a drink and will continue as a walking tour, stopping at various locations. Think walking tour meets pub crawl."

The program is hosted by the museum, Orland Park Recreation and the Village of Orland Park itself. The cost of the event is $15 for museum members and $20 for everyone else.

Additional beverages will be available for purchase at locations the tour will be stopping at. The event was offered in the past, but was ultimately canceled due to COVID-19.
