D135 PFE To Host Fun Run

The District 135 Parents For Education is excited to announce the first-ever "Run 135" to raise many for the ten schools in the District.

District 135's Parents for Education (PFE) Foundation is excited to announce its inaugural community event: the 1st Annual District 135 PFE Fun Run! This is a fantastic opportunity for students, families, staff, and community members to get active, have fun, and support the schools.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 26th, at the Meadow Ridge and Century Jr. High campus. The run/walk officially kicks off at 9:30 am.

This is an event for everyone, regardless of fitness level. The main event is a 1.35-mile run/walk course. For our youngest participants, there will be a fun 100-yard dash so they can join in the excitement!

After you cross the finish line, celebrate your achievement and refuel! A variety of food trucks will be available on-site with food and beverages for purchase.
Important Details for Participants:

  • Date & Time: Saturday, October 26th, 9:30 am start.
  • Location: Meadow Ridge and Century Jr. High Campus.
  • Distances: 1.35 Mile Fun Run/Walk and 100-Yard Dash for younger kids.

Note on Supervision: This is a family event. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is NOT a drop-off event.

Rain Date: In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Sunday, November 2nd. The determination on whether to use the rain date will be made by 8:00 am on October 26th.
