District 230 Board To Seek New Member After Resignation

Nadine Scodro steps down from District 230 Board of Education.

Nadine Scodro has announced her resignation from the Consolidated High School District 230 Board of Education, effective September 22, citing personal reasons.

Scodro, a graduate of Carl Sandburg High School, was appointed to the Board in January 2024 to fill a vacancy and was subsequently elected to a full term in the April 2025 local election. Over the course of her Board tenure, she held the role of Board Secretary and co-chair of the Education Committee and last year’s co-chair of the Student Support and Development Committee, contributing her time and expertise in support of the district’s mission.

Scodro said, “It has been an honor to serve alongside the board and contribute to the work of the district.”
