Dizzy Driver Crashes Car Into Light Pole In Orland Park

It happened Monday night on the 8100 block of Pickens Avenue, according to the Orland Fire Protection District.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A car accident in Orland Park left one person with minor injuries, and damage to a light pole, according to the Orland Fire Protection District.

Around 7:15 p.m. Monday, a driver cruising down the 8100 block of Pickens Avenue became dizzy and veered off the road, the OFPD told Patch. The driver then rammed into a light pole, suffering minor injuries.

The driver was treated on site, then taken to Palos Hospital. The light pole was slightly damaged but didn't fall down, and the front of the car had smashed as well, according to the OFPD.
