Elderly Victims Targeted In Orland Park Ruse Burglary: Police
Orland Park police arrested one of three men they said entered a home on Cedar Street earlier this week.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Three men made their way into an Orland Park home earlier this week in what police there are considering a ruse burglary. One of the men police say was involved has been arrested in connection with the Tuesday incident.
Police said the elderly victims of the home in the 8400 block of Cedar Street said the three men entered the home "under the guise of doing plumbing work on a neighbor's home." Their faces were covered with bandanas for the majority of the time they were inside.
The victims realized it was a scam when one of the men went up to the second floor of the home, police said. The burglars were then confronted and fled.

An Orland Park police investigation then led to the arrest of Anthony Miller, 30, of Des Plaines. Police said Miller turned himself in at the Orland Park Police Department on Wednesday. He was charged with residential burglary.
Police are still looking for the other two suspects.
