The most pressing issues facing our township are _______, and this is what I intend to do about them.

I will prioritize responsible budgeting, ensure that taxpayer dollars are spent effectively, and increase transparency in how funds are allocated to benefit the community.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I bring years of financial expertise and a strong commitment to accountability. I believe in making fiscally responsible decisions while ensuring that township services remain accessible to those who need them most.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)?

The current leadership has mismanaged township funds, failing to prioritize the needs of the residents. We need better financial oversight and a stronger commitment to fiscal responsibility.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

Beyond fiscal responsibility, I support improving township services, ensuring assistance programs reach those in need, and making government operations more transparent and accessible to residents.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

With 17 years in the financial sector, I have extensive experience managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and making strategic decisions. My professional background has prepared me to oversee township funds responsibly and efficiently.

Why should voters trust you?

I am committed to putting the needs of the community first. My career has been built on integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic, and I will bring those values to township leadership.

If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office as a success?

A balanced township budget that provides necessary services without wasteful spending would be a key success. I will work to ensure taxpayer dollars are used efficiently and effectively.

What are your views on fiscal policy, government spending and the handling of taxpayer dollars in the office you are seeking?

Taxpayer dollars should be handled with responsibility and transparency. I will advocate for a balanced budget that funds essential services while eliminating unnecessary spending.

What are your thoughts on the crime rate in your community, and what more can be done to combat crime — especially violent crime — in town?

Public safety is a top priority. I support working closely with local law enforcement to ensure they have the resources necessary to keep our community safe while also promoting neighborhood-based safety initiatives.

What is your view of the city's/village's approach to commercial and residential development?

Sustainable development is essential for our community’s growth. We need to ensure that development benefits residents, strengthens local businesses, and does not burden taxpayers.

When it comes to development, what are some key areas for improvement or additions you feel are most wanted by residents? What will need to be done to make this happen?

Residents want responsible development that enhances quality of life. This requires smart planning and collaboration with community stakeholders.

Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?

No.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am dedicated to making Orland Township a better place for all residents. My experience, dedication, and commitment to fiscal responsibility will ensure that our township is managed effectively for years to come.
