What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Our campaign is running on our record, not from it. We have proven success and loyalty to the community.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)?

Our platform does not use negativity or slander towards the other parties opposing us.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I was awarded the 2024 American Red Cross Wesbury Award which recognizes individuals or corporations that enhance the Red Cross’s visibility and help deliver its services and messages of health, safety, and preparedness.
Why should voters trust you?
I have lived in Orland Township for over 40 years. I was married here and raised my children here. I’ve been an active and upstanding member of the community.
If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office as a success?
Adding the blood drive services to our long list of essential services the residents want.
What are your views on fiscal policy, government spending and the handling of taxpayer dollars in the office you are seeking?
Our tax dollars need to be used wisely to avoid increasing the cost of services we provide. We need to continue recruiting donations for some of the services. For example, continuing to solicit donations and partner with local grocers towards the food and pet pantry.
What are your thoughts on the crime rate in your community, and what more can be done to combat crime — especially violent crime — in town?
I’m pleased with the overall crime rate in Orland Township. However, we always med to do better. We need to continue to educate our residents about awareness. We need to continue working closely with our law enforcement to help them keep up the wonderful job they are doing.
What is your view of the city's/village's approach to commercial and residential development?
I welcome more residents and businesses to join our community.
When it comes to development, what are some key areas for improvement or additions you feel are most wanted by residents? What will need to be done to make this happen?

Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?
No.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I have been married to Jerry for 32 years. My children, Bob, Carrie and soon to be daughter in law Grace all grew up and went to school in Orland Township. I have an impeccable reputation in the township, with my current and former employers and volunteer positions, and as a neighbor.
