Erin's AAIM has Raised Over $125,000 for Education
Two Orland Park police officers were recognized for logging the highest numbers of DUI arrests.
Shortly before the 2013 Erin's AAIM for Change 5K started in Orland Park Sunday morning, a few key details about the cause were shared.
The Erin Olmsted Foundation has raised over $125,000 for college scholarships to Carl Sandburg and Plainfield East high school students and for drunk driving education and deterrents.
Paul Otto read the numbers before the race Sunday, and Kate Olmsted-Morris shared thoughts on the reasons behind the effort. Olmsted-Morris also recognized Orland Park police officers William Fitzgibbons and Ron Ahrendt for logging the most DUI arrests in the last year.
