ORLAND PARK, IL — The Recreation and Parks Departments at the Village of Orland Park has a challenge for residents: Explore all 64 village park sites to compete for prizes.
The competition, Explore 64 Hunt will be open to the first 1,000 competitors July 5 through August 5. Participants must download the Scavify App on Google Play or the App Store. After it's downloaded, create a free account and search for the hunt called "Explore 64" and enter password “orlandpark” to get started.
The hunt includes three types of tasks, a photo challenge; a GPS check in; and a question-and-answer. You can also share what you're doing using #Explore64.

The first person to visit all 64 parks and complete the final task at the Taste of Orland Park wins the Top Explorer First Place Award— a one month membership to the village's Sportsplex. The second place winner wins two free passes to the Centennial Park Aquatic Center.
Third place honors go to the top 10 winners who visit 50 to 63 parks. They will earn two free passes for the kayak and pedal boats at Lake Sedgewick.

There is no charge to participate and winners must be Village of Orland Park residents. Competitors must be 14 years old to participate and those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who must show two forms of identification to prove residency when claiming prizes.
Village parks are open every day from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Participants must download the Scavify App and visit all 64 parks between July 5 and August 5, 2018. Photos taken within the village's boundaries and uploaded to the Scavify App under Orland Park's Explore 64 Hunt may be used by the village for promotional purposes.
Winners will be notified by email after August 5.
