Football: Sandburg Faces Off Against Homewood-Flossmoor at Home

The Eagles varsity football team will try to add another win to their 4-1 record this season, when they come back home Friday night to take on the 5-0 Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings.

Last week, the Eagles shut out the Joliet Central Steelmen both on offense and defense to win the game 40-0, with a running clock eating time at the end.

The Vikings had an epic battle on their end, with their first win against the Lincoln-Way East Griffins in a decade. The game was close with the Vikings pulling it out in the end, 24-21.

The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at Carl Sandburg High School, 13300 S. LaGrange Road in Orland Park.
