Football: Sandburg Takes on Joliet West Saturday
The Carl Sandburg High School Eagles varsity football team will aim to add another win to the season against the Joliet West High School Tigers Saturday.
The Sandburg Eagles go into Saturday’s football game against Joliet West on their field, with a 2-1 record.
Last week, the Eagles steadily kept the lead ahead of Lockport to win 28-14, thanks in part to some solid carries by Brian Langowski, including a touchdown toward the end to shut down the Porters one last time.
The Tigers also go into Saturday's game at 2-1, after losing to Homewood-Flossmoor last week 48-14.

Joliet West High School is at 401 N. Larkin Ave. and the game is scheduled to start at noon.
