Friends of the Library Donate $3,500 to Orland Park Public Library
Friends Shirley Haiduk and Pattie Goble present check to Assistant Library Director Anthony Andros and Library Director Mary Adamowski.

On Sunday, June 22, just before the Cadillac Groove Concert under the library pavilion, the Friends of the Orland Park Public Library presented a $3,500 check to Assistant Library Director Anthony Andros and Library Director Mary Adamowski in support of the library’s mission to provide enriching programs and resources to the community. This generous donation will help fund a wide range of engaging and educational events, including storytimes for children, thought-provoking book discussions, and hands-on learning opportunities for all ages.
The Friends of the Library are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the work of the Orland Park Public Library. Community members are encouraged to support their efforts by donating gently-used books to Recycled Reads. All items at the Recycled Reads store are available for purchase during regular library hours, with proceeds going toward library programming.
Volunteers are also needed to help restock Recycled Reads. Those interested can contact Assistant Library Director Anthony Andros at aandros@orlandparklibrary.org or at (708) 428-5203. Join the Friends of the Library and start making a difference in your community. Memberships are just $5 per year. Visit the Friends of the Library page on the Orland Park Public Library website to learn more.
