Gizmo's Fun Factory Is Out, Here's What Will Replace It In Orland Park
Slick City will open in the space formerly known as Gizmo's Fun Factory, both companies have confirmed.
ORLAND PARK, IL — A popular indoor slide park is coming to Orland Park, set to move into the space formerly occupied by Gizmo's Fun Factory.
Slick City—touted as the "world's first indoor slide park"—will open at 66 Orland Square Drive.
Gizmo's Fun Factory announced the change in late-June.

"Gizmo’s Fun Factory has officially passed the torch," the business said on social media. "The space you used to know is getting a MAJOR glow-up.. Introducing Slick City Action Park—the ultimate indoor slide park and action-packed playground for all ages! Giant slides, Air courts, Laser tag and so much more!
"We’re bringing the heat with new ownership, new management, and a completely new experience!"

On its website, Slick City lists a projected opening of August 2025.
"Get ready for massive indoor slides, sports air courts, laser tag, and soft play," Slick City Orland Park's Facebook page reads.
The action park opened its first Illinois location in North Aurora last fall and operates 16 parks nationwide. Its website lists 40 locations as under construction.
The Orland Park location is expected to feature many of the same attractions as the North Aurora one, including the "Fast Lane," "Big Wave" and "Cowabunga" slides. Check them out on the website.
Known as an amusement center offering a restaurant, go-karts, laser tag, a playground, and arcade games, Gizmo's Fun Factory had previously announced in January that it was closed for remodeling.
