The Great Pumpkin Party Returns To Orland's Centennial Park October 4
Popular fall event returns packed with Halloween-themed activities and fun. Registration open now.

ORLAND PARK, IL — The Village of Orland Park will kick off the fall season with the highly anticipated Great Pumpkin Party on Saturday, October 4 at Centennial Park near the Warming Center, located on Fun Drive west of West Avenue.
This fun-filled outdoor event is offered in two sessions. The first session will take place from 10 a.m. to noon and the second session from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
“We're excited to offer this family-favorite fall event for families to come out and enjoy,” said Mayor Jim Dodge. “It’s always a great way to mark the beginning of the fall season.”

Participants are strongly encouraged to preregister at orlandpark.org/pumpkinparty. Limited same-day registration will be available at the registration tent beginning 30 minutes before each session, while tickets last. The fee is $7 per person for children and adults ages 3 and older (service fees may apply) and free for children 2 and younger. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
All children will receive a goodie bag and a ticket redeemable for one pie-sized pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, both included with registration. Free parking will be available in Centennial Park lots, with ADA-accessible parking and drop-off north of the event site.

Activities included with registration are pony rides, hayrides, a petting zoo, donut bobbing, prize corral, barrel train rides, straw maze, pumpkin patch, sensory corn bins, games, bounce houses, DJ, marshmallow roasting, candy and pumpkin weight guessing, fall photo areas, costume contest, trunk-or-treat goodies, face painting and sponsor giveaways.
The free children’s costume contest is an annual favorite. Children are invited to dress as their favorite characters or creatures. Prizes will be awarded for best overall costume and most creative costume. Contestants must be ages 1 to 9. To participate, meet at the DJ booth at 10:30 a.m. for the morning session or 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon session.
Food trucks and local restaurants will offer ghoulish goodies for purchase, including Beggars Pizza, Chick-fil-A of Orland Park, Nicky V’s, Taqueria Mi Taquito and The Muddle Lemon. Tootsie Roll canisters will be available for $3, with proceeds supporting the Village of Orland Park Special Recreation Program.

The Great Pumpkin Party will be held rain or shine, and activities are subject to change. In the event of cancellation due to weather or other reasons, no refunds or credits will be issued.
