Group Broke Into 3 Orland Park Homes In Silo Ridge, Possibly More: PD
Police told Patch they believe the 4 men are connected to burglaries in Crystal Tree and Highland Park. The group stole jewelry and cash.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Three homes were broken into within the Silo Ridge subdivision of Orland Park last weekend, police said. A few months prior, burglaries of a similar pattern were reported in Crystal Tree.
According to Orland Park police, officials are looking for four men who they say broke into three homes on Silo Ridge Road on May 13. No one was home at the time of the burglaries, but each home had jewelry, cash and other valuables stolen from inside.
Police said security footage showed a group of four men who entered each home from the back door and walked out shortly after carrying valuables in a backpack. The burglaries took place at around 10 p.m.

Orland Park police are working with officials from other departments such as Highland Park police since Commander Kenneth Rosinski said the clothing and method of the burglars matches that of other high-end home break-ins across Chicagoland.
"We can put some of the clothing the offenders were wearing in Highland Park, Roskinski told Patch. "It's large homes, secluded areas, same MO."

Police believe the group traveled to Silo Ridge on foot from another subdivision where they likely parked a car. Rosinski recommend security cameras, motion-activated lights and "staying alert" to help protect homeowners against burglars.
"If you see somebody walking around a neighborhood that you don't know or they seem suspicious," he said. "Call us, we'll check it out."
