Village officials have provided another update on the new coronavirus in Orland Park.
ORLAND PARK, IL — The village of Orland Park released another video update on the coronavirus pandemic and how it affects local residents. In the video, Mayor Keith Pekau said there have been "a handful" of confirmed coronavirus cases among Orland Park residents, and he expects more in the coming days.
There are 21 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Orland Park, a map released by the Cook County Department of Public Health showed early Monday afternoon.
At this time last week, we knew of at least two confirmed coronavirus cases in Orland Park. Additionally, we know an employee at Carl Sandburg High School has tested positive for the coronavirus.
