Houlihan's Closes Orland Park Location

ORLAND PARK, IL — The Houlihan's restaurant on La Grange Road in Orland Park has closed. The restaurant's Facebook page listed it as "permanently closed," and a call to the restaurant Wednesday night was not answered.

The restaurant cited "high rent and increased operating costs" as its reasons for closing in a since-deleted Facebook post shared Tuesday.

"We are doing everything possible to minimize the impact to affected team members," the Facebook post read, specifically mentioning having employees of the Orland Park Houlihan's work at different locations.

The nearest Houlihan's locations are now in Wheaton, Naperville, Geneva and Schererville, Indiana. More than 100 other restaurants remain in Orland Park.
