ORLAND PARK, IL — The Orland Park Police Department announced on Facebook Monday that there will be an increased police presence in the town as a precautionary measure due to reports of criminal activity in surrounding areas.

The village said on Facebook that the safety of residents, businesses and guests remains their top priority. The action of increased police presence comes as an abundance of caution, according to the Facebook post.

The police department said to report suspicious activity by calling 708-349-4111 or 911 in case of any emergencies.
