K9 Officers Sniffing Around Orland Park Are Just Training: OPPD

ORLAND PARK, IL — K9 cops that might be seen sniffing around Orland Park early this week are not cause for concern, Orland Park police said Monday.

Orland Park police will host a trailing and tracking K-9 training seminar, utilizing various locations around Orland Park Monday, May 5 through Wednesday, May 7, the department said.

There will be eight to 10 K-9 teams from neighboring departments participating in the training.

Exact locations for the training were not disclosed.
