ORLAND PARK, IL — A popular Orland Park eatery is doing its part to help families in the community affected by the recent statewide school closure called by Gov. J.B. Pritzker amid the spread of the new coronavirus. McAllister's Deli, open for carryout only now at 14309 S. La Grange Road, says kids will eat free for as long as the schools are closed.

"We love our community and want to help out as much as we can," said Tracey Renfro, general manager of the Orland Park McAllister's Deli.

Renfro said the only rule is "2 kids per adult," and that the offer is available every day while the deli is open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
