Library Announces Storytime Lineup for May-August

The Orland Park Public Library is excited to announce its upcoming lineup of engaging and educational storytimes for children and families, running from May through August. With a variety of age-specific and all-ages sessions, the library offers something for everyone, providing a perfect way to nurture a love of reading and spark creativity in young minds.

Weekly Storytimes:

• Toddler Time – Tuesdays at 10 a.m. from May 13 – Aug. 26 For ages 24-47 months with a parent or caregiver.
• Baby Lapsit Storytime – Wednesdays at 10 a.m. from May 14 – Aug. 27 For ages birth to 11 months with a parent or caregiver.
• Baby Walkers Storytime – Wednesdays at 11 a.m. from May 14 – Aug. 27 For ages 12-23 months with a parent or caregiver.
• Once Upon a Time Storytime – Thursdays at 10 a.m. from May 15 – Aug. 28 For all ages.
• Bright Starts Family Storytime – Saturdays at 10 a.m. from May 17 – Aug. 30 For all ages.

Specialty Storytimes:

• Arabic Storytime – Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. on May 15, July 17, and Aug. 21 For all ages. Celebrate cultural diversity with stories, songs, and activities in Arabic.
• Night Owls Storytime – Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. On May 15, June 12 & 26, July 3, 17 & 31, Aug. 14 & 28 For all ages. Enjoy an evening of fun-filled stories, perfect for winding down before bedtime.
