Life Time Orland Park To Offer Outdoor Fitness Classes

Life Time Orland Park is offering classes outdoors for those who are not ready to exercise indoors yet.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Not ready to head to the gym just yet? Life Time Fitness in Orland Park is now offering outdoor classes amid COVID-19.

Life Time is a health club that has over 150 locations across the United States and Canada.

Group fitness and yoga classes are another way to give people who aren't ready for indoor work outs a chance to get to the gym, according to a news release. The hybrid model is only available at selective Life Time locations.

Debbie Plante, Studio Manager at Life Time Orland Park said, "At Life Time, we currently offer several outdoor aqua classes and are now hosting an outdoor Thursday yoga event in the morning. We will begin offering more classes outside in the coming weeks, based on an increased interest from members to get outside."

The outdoor pool season is now being extended to Sept. 30 due to positive feed back, according to the news release.

Life Time created these sessions as a way to align with government regulations, as well as consumer needs, according to the news release. These will be offered at clubs around the country.
