Looking for a Job? The Orland Library Might Have Some Tips

The Orland Park Public Library will be hosting an event to help those who are looking for a job, by giving tips and providing resources.

ORLAND PARK, IL — The Orland Park Public Library is hosting an event to help people find a job.

The library is hosting "Job Hunt" on Tues, Sept. 2 from 7 to 8 p.m., over zoom to share some new practices and hear about resources that can help those looking for a job have more luck.

"The internet is where most people look for new opportunities, but how do you navigate all the available options and how do you effectively communicate with employers once you’ve decided to apply," the library wrote on the website. "Learn about resources and best practices to help you land a new job."

The event is filed under adult programs and computer classes and can be accessed here. You can fill out a reminder form on the site to get a text or email prior to the start of the event.
