Man, 18, Charged With Aggravated Unlawful Of Weapon: Orland PD
Police said Harold Guider Jr. of Park Forest was also charged with fleeing/attempting to elude police and numerous traffic citations

ORLAND PARK, IL â Orland Park Police said they arrested a man who fled from a traffic stop on foot at around 7:50 p.m. Monday. Police said Harold Guider Jr., 18 of Park Forest, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer and numerous traffic citations.
Orland Park Police said an officer saw a man â who is believed to be Guider â speeding northbound at the 15100 Block of LaGrange Road. Police said the officer followed the car as it turned east onto 149th Street, where he switched his emergency lights on, stopping the car as it neared Orland Square Drive.
The vehicle turned into the Duluth Trading Company parking lot, 29 Orland Square Drive, according to police. When the car was nearly at a complete stop, Guider Jr. got out, running on foot from the scene, police said.

According to police, the car was still in drive and continued to move forward until the passenger leaped into the driverâs seat to stop it. Police said the officer stopped and secured the car and informed other Orland Park officers that Guider had run from the stop.
Police said officers instantly began looking for Guider, finding him soon after hiding under a tree in the area of 14900 LaGrange Road. After Guider was taken into custody, officers searched the route he ran from the car, finding a loaded revolver under a tree in the southeast corner of Duluth Trading Co., according to police.

According to police, on Tuesday, Guider was taken to the Bridgeview Courthouse, where his bond was set at $2,500.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
