Man Hit, Injured By School Bus In Orland Park Monday Morning

ORLAND PARK, IL — A 21-year-old man was hit by a school bus on its way to a school in a rush-hour accident that shut down portions of Wolf Road in Orland Park Monday morning.

According to Orland Park police, a Sunrise School Bus was traveling north on the 16300 block of Wolf Road at 8:37 a.m. when it hit a man who may have wandered into the road.

The man was taken to Silver Cross Hospital to be treated for serious injuries, police said.

Neither the bus driver nor the single passenger, a student, on board was injured. A police spokesman said no further information would be released to protect the identity of the child.
