Marcus Theatres Orland Park To Reopen Aug. 21 With New Protocols
New and old releases will be on the big screen this Friday when Marcus Theatres reopens in Orland Park
ORLAND PARK, IL — Marcus Theatres in Orland Park will be reopening this Friday, Aug. 21, with social distancing measures, according to their website.
The theater will be following S.T.A.R.: social distancing, thorough cleaning and sanitizing, app/website ordering, respect for all guests and associates.
"These new protocols, combined with upcoming NEW movie releases create a great entertainment option at a time when it’s truly needed," the comapny said.

The theater is following a variety of protocols to ensure safety such as a refund if feeling sick prior to arrival, face mask requirement unless eating or drinking, and social distancing, according to the website. Associates will also undergo wellness checks prior to beginning their shifts, be required to wear masks and gloves — when necessary— and have hand sanitizer available throughout the facility, also stated on the website.
Marcus Theaters also recommends purchasing tickets on their app or website prior to arrival, as stated on their website. Same recommendation applies when ordering concessions.
