Masks Needed At Primary Care Office In Orland Amid Coronavirus

Masks, gloves and other protective gear are needed at the Dr. Susan Rife & Associates Family Medicine in Orland Park.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Protective gear is needed at hospitals and doctor's offices throughout the region as the pandemic over the new coronavirus continues. At least one primary care facility in Orland Park is seeking donations.

An office manager at Dr. Susan Rife & Associates Family Medicine at 10755 W. 163rd Place said donations of masks, gloves, gowns and other protective gear can be brought to the office between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The doors of the office are closed due to the coronavirus outbreak, but those who wish to donate the supplies should call the office at 708-873-1187 and let them know when they are there so someone can meet them at the door.

"We are on frontlines and need masks," Rife said. "Gloves, gowns and protective gear too."

Statewide, more than 1,200 cases of the coronavirus have been reported and 12 people have died. Orland Park itself has reported two of the cases.
