New Fitness Club Opens In Orland Hills Before New Years Rush

The Edge Fitness Club will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at the 40,000 square foot location on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

ORLAND PARK, IL — A new fitness club is coming to the south suburbs just in time for New Year's resolutions.

The Edge Fitness Club is opening its third Chicago area gym on Wednesday at a building in Orland Hills. While the gym was first slated to open over a year ago, COVID-19 shipping delays pushed the grand opening to December.

Now, a spokeswoman for the club told Patch they expect over 200 members to be waiting in line at the 9291 West 159th Street location before the ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

All potential members are invited to the grand opening which will also include a tour of the 40,000 square foot facility.
