New X-Golf Location In Orland Park Has Grand Opening Thursday
The franchise is owned by 3 local couples who bonded over their love of golf, a spokesperson for the location said.

ORLAND PARK, IL — X-Golf is hosting a grand opening to unveil its newest Orland Park location this Thursday, officials told Patch.
The new chain will reside in the former 8,000 square foot vacancy in the Lake View Plaza on 15876 South La Grange Road. There, X-Golf will have eight indoor golf simulator bays and a bar and lounge.
Thursdays event will feature a marching band, inaugural tee off, golf pro lessons and refreshments. Festivities are scheduled to take place from 2:30 - 9 p.m. with the official ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m.

"X-Golf is the perfect combination of entertainment, sports and ambiance," said John O'Malley. Him and his wife Cindy are one of three couples who own the franchise.
Orland Park residents Ed and Marylou Parsons and Joe and Jessica Andrews also own the location. According to a spokesperson, the three met at Crystal Tree Country Club and bonded over their love of golf.

"We are so excited to offer this amazing golf technology to novice and avid golfers, families and groups," O'Malley said. "Players can enjoy entertainment, engage in serious practice to sharpen their game and enjoy great food and drinks."
The X-Golf location plans to host competitions, leagues, lessons, memberships and corporate outings. After the grand opening, the Orland Park location will be open Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to midnight.
