Yes
What does the nominee do for work?:
RN at Palos Hospital
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
My sister is currently a nurse working on a Covid floor, meaning all the patients she takes care of have Covid-19 or being tested for it. She continues to put her own health at risk every night when she begins her shifts. With these hard times, her floor at times is understaffed which means she even goes in on days when she isn't scheduled to work. She is truly a hero and isn't thanked enough for the work she is doing.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She loves being a nurse and while she never expected to be working during a crisis like this, she feels so blessed to be healthy and wants to continue helping others for as long as she can and until this pandemic is over.
Thank you for all you do, Rebecca!
