ORLAND PARK, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Registered nurse at Palos Hospital

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She should be recognized for her bravery and selflessness for being on the frontlines treating COVID-19 patients. No matter how hard or frightening it gets, she puts herself at risk to save those in need. She has been working from morning to night to protect our community and been courageous through it all. She has been a great resource for not only our family and friends, but other frontline workers and our whole community. Many people come to her when in need of assistance or information on staying safe.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She works very hard to save others and never expects anything in return. She is a very selfless person.
