ORLAND PARK, IL — Without community leaders, Orland Park wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

What does this community leader do?
Keeps the public informed of what is happening in D135 even when they do not have children in the district, but are still taxpayers.
Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?
Communication. I have not had children in D135 since 2010, but I am made aware of what is happening. She does not hide issues from the public—good or bad.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?
Her communication. Whether it is good or bad news about D135, she will answer you honestly. You may not like the news, but she will not hide it from the taxpayers.
