Orland Honors Spelling Master, Reminds Folks To Join Spelling Bee
Orland Park honored its beloved spelling master and spelling champs Monday, reminding folks to sign up for this year's bee.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Park trustees honored beloved Spelling Master Bill Smith and local spelling bee champions Monday night, reminding folks to sign up for the 41st annual event in October.
Smith reminded the board that most trustees, six mayors and two clerks all have participated in some way in the bee. The invitation, is open he said.

The 41st Annual Orland Park "Open" Spelling Bee will be held in October at The Presbyterian Church in Orland Park.
The spelling bee is open to anyone 8 and older. Registration is free.

It will be held Sun., Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. at The Presbyterian Church at 13401 Wolf Road.
