Orland Park Bakery Reopening Delayed Nearly 2 Weeks
Bakery owner Dan Major said the new date to reopen is May 13.

ORLAND PARK, IL â The Orland Park Bakery has pushed its reopening date forward nearly two weeks, now targeting May 13 at the date. The bakery has been closed in recent weeks after two of their employees tested positive for the new coronavirus.

The bakery originally set May 1 as its reopening date. Owner Dan Major said earlier this week the reopening had been delayed.

At 14850 S. La Grange Road, the bakery has long been a favorite in the village, having been recognized by the Orland Park Village Board earlier this year, and in 2019 pumping out 65,000 paczki ahead of Fat Tuesday that year.
They had been offering breads, donuts and cakes via delivery or curbside pickup during the coronavirus shutdown on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays before the temporary closure.
