Orland Park Homeownership Rates Highest In Nation

ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Park has the highest home ownership rate in the nation, according to an analysis of census data by 24/7 Wall St., a financial website.

Using the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey, the site found that the village outranked, even nearby Tinley Park and Bolingbrook.

According to the data, more than 89 percent of Orland's 58,312 residents own their own home.

“The American dream of home ownership is alive and well in Orland Park,” said Mayor Keith Pekau in a statement. “Homeowners tend to be more active and involved in their communities and typically invest and re-invest in Orland Park through their homes.”
