Orland Park Introduces New Program To Help Local Restaurants
The Dine Orland Park program is to support food establishments in Orland that are impacted by the state's restrictions on indoor dining.

ORLAND PARK, IL — The Village of Orland Park announced a new program called Dine Orland Park, which is used to promote Orland Park’s vast array of eateries, according to the village.
The village said the goal of the program is to support food establishments in Orland that are impacted by the state’s restrictions on indoor dining. The program will run from Nov. 6- Dec. 31 2020, according to the village.
"This is a difficult time for Orland Park’s restaurants," Mayor Keith Pekau said. "Food establishments in Orland Park have shown true dedication by continuing to operate at some capacity while managing to keep employees and customers healthy and safe."

Under program terms, anyone who submits receipts over $100 — excluding tip — at any Orland Park eating establishment during the program period will be eligible for a $10 Visa gift card. Dining purchases include dine-in, take-out, drive-thru and delivery, the village stated.
In order to claim the gift card, diners have to submit sales receipts and a completed Dine Orland Park Incentive rebate form to the village hall, 14700 Ravinia Ave, by Jan. 31, 2021.

"Orland Park has always been the destination of choice for area diners," Pekau said. "This program gives just one more reason to frequent Orland Park eating establishments by rewarding prospective diners who choose our community in which to enjoy a meal, entertain or order catering."
The village said purchases have to be made at sales tax collecting dining establishments within corporate limits of Orland. There is a limit of one gift card per adult. The incentive program is open to both residents and non-residents, based on a first-come, first-served basis —while supplies last. The Dine Orland Park visa gift card is redeemable at any Orland business, the village said.
"Dining local is a win-win for Orland Park," Pekau said. "Every dollar you spend in Orland Park helps Orland Park residents and businesses. Local businesses provide jobs for local residents. This has a trickle-down effect since owners and staff also shop locally, which further boosts our economy. Dining local also generates more sales tax revenue. One of the reasons that Orland Park has among the lowest municipal tax rates is because of our robust entertainment and dining sector."
