Orland Park Public Library Hosts Blood Drive on December 21
Join the Orland Park Public Library on December 21 to donate blood and help save lives in your community.

Orland Park Public Library invites community members to make a life-saving difference by participating in a blood drive on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m. The Vitalant Blood Mobile will be parked in the library’s circle drive, providing a convenient location for donors to give blood.
“We are thrilled to partner with Vitalant for our upcoming blood drive on December 21,” said Library Director Mary Adamwoski. “Their commitment to advancing transfusion medicine and making blood donation accessible aligns with our mission to serve and uplift our community. Together, we can make a meaningful impact, helping to save and improve lives right here in Orland Park.”
Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, whether it's a cancer patient undergoing treatment or an individual in need of open-heart surgery. This constant demand can only be met by generous donors in our community. The library encourages individuals aged 16 and older to join the library in this vital effort.
