ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Park voters preject to elect a few new school board members and keep incumbents on the library board. Here is a look at race results.

The polls in Suburban Cook County open at 6 a.m. Tuesday and remained open until 7 p.m. Candidates stood outside polling stations to greet voters throughout the day. School Board and Library Board candidates in Orland Park put up a fight this April and Patch took a look at the results, as seen below.

Orland School District 135 results as of 7 p.m:

There were four seats up for grabs and seven candidates listed on the ballot. Here are voter totals for D135:

James Bax — 17.58%

Nichole M. Browner — 16.11%

Elizabeth Jobb — 19.84%

Francis Lattyak — 12.72%

Alan L Kastengren — 10.95%

Eamon Walsh — 7.81%

Jennifer Tutor — 15%

Candidates Walsh and Kastengren are projected to have lost as of Tuesday evening.

Community Consolidated School District 146 results:

D146 had seven candidates vying for votes to win over the four open seats this election. Jill Dunlap, Rick Lloyd, Patty Chlada and Julie Berry all ran on the slate titled 146 Forward. The slate is projected to win the D146 race as of Tuesday evening. Here are the results so far:

Jill Dunlap: 19.25%

Rick Lloyd: 13.93%

Patty Chlada: 16.89%

Julie Berry: 20.08%

Shane Wilson: 8.22%

Julie Jackson: 9.88%

Vincent J. Aiello: 11.74%

Orland Park Library Board

With two open seats, four candidates filed to run for the Orland Park Public Library Board this election. Seeking re-election at the library, Joanna M. Liotine Leafblad and Christian J. Barcelona are currently projected to win the race. Leafblad is the current president of the board of trustees. Barcelona is the immediate past president, and now serves as the vice-president.

The challengers who were hoping to claim those open positions were Mohammed Jaber and Jamie K. Makuch.

The votes as of Tuesday evening are:

Joanna M. Liotine Leafblad: 30.64%

Christian J. Barcelona: 31.32%

Mohammed Jaber: 18.33%

Jamie K. Makuch: 19.7%
