ORLAND PARK, IL — An Orland Park woman had to relocate her environmentally-friendly tattoo parlor after she unknowingly moved into a part of the village that was not permitted for tattoo and piercing parlors, according to reports.

Selena Carrion had already put hours of work and thousands of dollars into setting up Venus Vegan Tattoos only to be told by zoning officials that she would have to move out of the district or petition the Orland Park Board of Trustees to allow her shop to stay.

Carrion instead decided to move her business to Chicago but is still in negotiations with her landlord in order to withdraw from her lease.
