Orland Park's Main Street Triangle Development Nears After Long Wait
The village hired a consulting firm to assess the land last year and found it had capacity for a theater, movies and rooftops.

ORLAND PARK, IL — After years of promises to develop the land north of LaGrange Road and 143rd Street, village officials announced they are moving forward with the Main Street Triangle development which could include a theater, restaurants and luxury apartments, village trustees said.
According to officials, Main Street Triangle could soon be a reality after Edwards Realty Co., a development consulting firm, submitted potential ideas on how to best use the land.
Of the parcel, a vacant 12,000 square foot building and 27 acre site are available for build.

Concepts submitted to the board included an office building with a rooftop restaurant, an amphitheater and senior housing.
If the village chooses to go forward with the development process, a spokeswoman for the village said the next step would be to collect development plans from interested residents.
