ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Park police are searching for two men who identified themselves as federal agents Saturday night and shot at a man who escaped through a garage door.
Police said they were not federal agents and that the man was a target. The shooting was not a random act, they said.
According to police, a shot was fired at about 10:28 p.m. at the 11000 block of 167th Place. A man reported that he pulled his car into the garage, and when he got out of the car, two armed and masked men came up to him and told him they were federal agents. He ran away from them through a garage door and into his house, closing the door behind him. One of the men shot at him once through the closed door. No one was injured.
