Orland Teacher Switches Attorneys in Sex Assault Case
Jesus Sanchez, who is accused of sexually assaulting a former student, gets new attorney and new judge.

An Orland teacher, who is accused of sexually assaulting a student while driving her home from work, now has a new attorney and a new judge, according to the Daily Southtown.
Jesus Sanchez, 44, is charged with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, two counts of kidnapping, four counts of aggravated battery in a public plane and one count of unlawful restraint.
Sanchez pleaded not guilty to all charges.

He is now being represented by Palos Heights attorney Colleen McSweeney Moore. She declined to say why Sanchez sought a new attorney, or a new judge.
Circuit Court Judge Tommy Brewer will replace Judge Michele Pitman.

Sanchez taught Spanish at Thornwood High School in South Holland.
