Orland Township Honors Holiday Program Donors

More than 100 groups and individual, including a girl scout troop and cub scout pack, contributed to the 2018 Holiday Program.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Township recognized donors to the 2018 Holiday Program with certificates and a thank you from the township's supervisor.

More than 100 groups and individual, including a girl scout troop and cub scout pack, contributed to the program, the township announced.

“Some of you participated by having a friendly competition among your peers, to earn a
merit badge or to help teach your own children about the spirit of giving,” Orland Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady said in a statement. “Whatever the reason, please accept Orland Township’s heartfelt gratitude and know that your kindness and generosity helped make the holiday season a little brighter for more than 160 struggling families in our community."
