Orland Township Hosts Another Successful COVID-19 Booster Clinic
Nearly 100 residents arrived to receive their dose.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Nearly 100 residents arrived at Orland Township on Wednesday, Jan. 12, to receive a dose of the COVID-19 booster shot in the Township Activity Center. Thanks to the joint effort of Orland Township and Jewel-Osco, attendees had the choice between the Pfizer and Moderna boosters, along with access to an optional flu shot.
Over the last week, the Township managed set up a registration process for all residents, giving them access to an opportunity not all are aware of. Jewel-Osco pharmacists were on site administering the vaccines to the residents as they arrived.
“As we traverse our way through yet another stage in the pandemic, we must continue to put the health and safety of our residents first. Orland Township is happy to have had another chance to help distribute COVID-19 boosters,” Orland Township Supervisor Paul O’Grady said. “We’re continuously grateful for the efforts of Jewel-Osco, since they’re always able to make these events happen.”
